THE MAN WHO PLANTED TREES -a sublime French-Canadian, Oscar winning animated story about a man determined to make a garden of Eden out of an area of wasteland in Provence. Narrated by Christopher Plummer -40mins.
TREEFELLERS -a BAFTA Scottish nominated documentary about the black lumberjacks from Belize (formerly British Honduras) who came to Scotland in 1942 to help the war effort by felling trees. Many lived and worked around East Linton and Haddington and some stayed on after the war -26mins.
